This workshop, presented by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM), is designed to assist developing health information management and health informatics programs seeking Initial Accreditation.
Representatives of developing degree-granting programs are invited to Chicago to meet with CAHIIM Staff and Volunteers. Attendees will gain instruction in using the web-based CAHIIM Accreditation System (CAS), for documenting program information related to the CAHIIM Accreditation Standards. Receive advise on program development and interpretive information for required documentation within the Self-Assessment process. Guidance and recommendations will be discussed for CAHIIM Maintenance of Accreditation processes and expectations after accreditation is achieved.
